SITE TYPE: eCommerce
RESPONSIBILITIES: system and site architecture, user flows, sitemaps, wireframes, requirements documentation, user experience and interaction design
The Technicolor Cinestyle Color Assist software was designed as a native self-install plug-in package that allowed users to preview their effects in real-time, with an easy-to-use interface that worked directly with their preferred editing programs. Thinkspace was challenged to architect a state of the art ecommerce solution from the ground up that mirrored Technicolor’s brand of consistently setting worldwide industry standards within an aggressive timeline of less than 5 weeks.
We recognized immediately that flexibility and speed were key. To that end, Thinkspace created modular work breakdown structures that were both, forward and backward looking. This allowed for multiple lean workflows to be tackled simultaneously. Overall system and site architecture were constantly updated as requirements evolved in parallel with interaction designs. Seamless product key delivery, free user trials, US and VAT tax updates and integration with client’s main accounting system, were scoped and architected in lockstep with building a pipeline for around the clock programming teams on and off-shore.
Completed IA and UX were delivered on time. Technicolor continues a century of innovation delivering enhanced media experiences on any screen and everyday consumers can now create like digital cinematic artists.
